Tips For Trout Killer Lures

Trout Killer lures come complete with 36″ of 10 lb leader which when fished by themselves this is a great length.  If fished behind a flasher such as a ProChip 4 Flasher however it is recommended that the leader be trimmed so that the trout lure rides 13 to 18 inches behind the attractor.  With EChip Electronic Bait Technology built in, harling and trolling for trout has never been better.

Slow Speed Trolling With Trout Killer Lures

When trolled between 1.5 and 2 mph they have a wild darting action that attracts the trout.  The size 2 Trout Killer lures however have a third rigging hole which allows even slowing trolling under 1 mph.  For speeds below 1 mph thread the leader down through the third hole, this changes the lure angle in the water and increases the lure action.

What is EChip Electronic Bait Technology

The Echip is the small metal tube located on the back of the lure.  As the lure wiggles a small ball inside the tube agitates the EChip crystal.  This Creates nerve pulses which are discharged into the water which trigger the attack by predators.  Every Trout Killer Lure has EChip Technology built in.
