ProChip 4 Flashers

Tips While Using ProChip 4 Trout Trolling Flashers

Flashers attract trout, salmon and other fish with the the spin and tail kick vibrations they put in the water.  The ProChip 4 trout trolling flashers are no different.  With its agitator fin on the back has superior erratic action and tail kick.  When combined with the built in EChip ProChip 4 Flashers help attract fish to the vicinity of your lure or bait.  Typical speeds for the ProChip 4 when trolling for tout are between 1 and 2 and a half mph.

Leader lengths When Trolling For Trout

The leader lengths in front and behind our trout trolling flashers are very important.  Front leader lengths are normally 30 to 36  inches.  Tail leader lengths are normally 12 to 18 inches.

What not to do while using trout trolling flashers
  1. Don’t try trolling for trout with the flasher rigged backwards.  This is the most common mistake made when rigging ProChip 4 flashers.  The narrow end is the front, the kicker fin and EChip are mounted at the rear.
  2. Don’t try trolling for trout with a lure a lure or bait that is too heavy behind the ProChip 4.  Too much weight can kill the tail kick action.  Pro-Troll Trout Killer lures are the perfect companion to ProChip 4 Flashers when trolling for trout.
